Ninamu Resort is located on a private motu (islet) in the southwest corner of Tikehau Atoll, in French Polynesia. It’s a one hour flight to the north east of the main French Polynesian island of Tahiti.
Air Tahiti Nui flies to to Papeete originating from Paris, Los Angeles, Auckland, and Tokyo. Air France flies to Papeete from Paris with a stopover in Los Angeles. Low-cost carrier French Bee serves Papeete from Paris with a stopover in San Francisco. United Airlines offers non-stop service from San Francisco to Papeete.
Tikehau is a short, one hour flight from Papeete. Inter-island domestic air travel is provided by Air Tahiti. They operate daily flights to Tikehau.
Yes, Ninamu Resort staff will meet you at Tikehau Airport. A quick car ride through the village takes you to the marina, and 10 minute boat ride across the lagoon gets you to the private island.
Yes. If the Air Tahiti schedule to and from Papeete does not meet your needs, or if you are traveling with a large group, private charter flights to and from Tikehau can be arranged. Please contact us for further details.

Ninamu is an all-inclusive resort, therefore prices are charged per guest, not room.
Infants less than two years old stay for free. Between 2 years and 12 years our child rates apply. Children 12 years or older pay full price.
Check-in is typically from 2pm onwards. Check-out is 12pm. Guest arriving early or leave late are welcome to use all facilities on the day of arrival and departure.
Only Teahupoo. All others bungalows are traditional builds with natural ventilation. Additional fans are provided in all rooms.
All our rooms have showers only. Teahupoo has an additional private jacuzzi.
Only Teahupoo. However, satellite TV is available in the common lounge.

Breakfasts typically consist of homemade bread, honey, jams, cereals, homemade yoghurt, bacon, sausages and eggs cooked to order. Lunch and dinner consist primarily of fish with a variety of side dishes and fresh vegetables. The fish is caught and prepared fresh daily (mahi mahi, yellow fin, wahoo, bonito, etc).
We offer multiple double and single kayaks, SUP’s and snorkeling gear for everyone to enjoy on their own in the surrounding waters.
Excursions are offered daily to all guests and vary depending on weather.
Scuba diving and deep sea fishing. Both can be arranged on the island.
Yes, but currently still running on island speed. Wireless internet is available for free. It’s typically sufficient for email and messenger communication.

Very basic medical services are available on Tikehau. The city of Papeete, on the Island of Tahiti has full medical facilities. For this reason we recommend purchasing travelers insurance with medical and evacuation coverage.
